Works great but quite noisy

We love the pellet ice that this machine produces. It does struggle a bit on heavy use days. The drip tray is an absolute must as the bin does drip a bit when you open it to get ice. My main issue is the loud motor when the machine is making ice. I am almost used to it but there is no mistaking the sound of the machine running.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product is worth every penny! My wife and children love to eat ice and our ice maker in our fridge just couldn’t keep up. I was constantly going to Sonic to get them ice. Now they just walk over to the counter and scoop out as much as they want!! They are completely hooked. The ice never sticks together, never runs low and constantly recycles itself! It really is a great product! Do yourself a favor and BUY one! You won’t regret it!!

Just got my new Opal ice machine installed and it’s kicking out ice within 20 minutes of the install.
Ice is just perfect for that crunch monster inside me!!
It’s going to be a great asset to my kitchen.

Great nice, but this machine makes weird noises. Also, you do need to clean it out each week. And it does not keep the ice cold or refrigerated.

This I’ve maker is very load while operating. If I didn’t throw the box away I would have returned it. Looks nice though

Nice ice maker. App is useless

The ice maker itself works well and produces good quality of ice. It is pretty loud when making ice (louder than any other appliance in the kitchen). The scheduling function on the app does not work at all. Not the end of the world but you expect those features to work as advertised. Will not buy other “smart” ge appliances as I assume this is a common failure.

100% Worth Every Penny

This ice maker is pretty expensive, but it is one of my family’s favorite things. It makes the perfect, chewable ice. The side tank is really helpful so that we aren’t constantly having to refill it. We honestly use it multiple times a day. If you are hesitant because of the price, I would say get it! You will not regret it.
