Great at first. Breaks down quickly.

This icemaker was absolutely wonderful at first. The icemaker is actually incredibly quiet and looks great. However even if you clean it per instructions and only use filtered water it will eventually stop working. It will tell you it is out of water despote a full tank and side tank. I've tried everything. Even watched YouTube videos. I wouldn't buy this model. It will break down shortly after using it and it won't be something you can fix.

At first, this was a really great machine, and I was super excited about the ice. It was a very expensive ice machine, but it made the kind of ice that I was looking for. Within months, this machine turned into a nightmare. The machine itself is extremely heavy and the only way to clean it is to pick it up and physically dump out the water and cleaning product from the reservoir. I have to do this almost weekly because the machine is not refrigerated and the motor runs hot so it creates a green moldy bacteria film very rapidly in the ice bucket. I even use purified bottled water. If you do not keep the machine on and running, the ice melts and the reservoir over flow and leaks everywhere! In order for it not to do that, you have to dump out all of the water which requires you to pick up the extremely heavy machine, carry to a sink, practically hang it upside down to get all of the water out. Honestly, it’s not even worth it! For the price you pay and there’s no easy way to clean the machine or keep it from creating that moldy film. I would not recommend this for anyone!

Great product, but here’s a tip!

We highly recommend this ice maker! Ours was gifted to us a year and a half ago and it is a great product! However, here is the best tip we can give for anyone looking to purchase one: use distilled water in it. We used tap water for the first few months and got the horrible grinding noise. We were ready to throw it away. Then we found an article online about using distilled water. After switching to distilled water, it has been top-notch! Great product!

Worked great, produced ice fairly quick and loved the little cubes but it started making a horrible sound (like a sick cat howling) when it was making the ice!!!! Unbearable sound had to unplug and stop using! Hopeful it will be repaired or replaced!

Love my ice

I absolutely love my ice, however it’s barely a year old and it keeps displaying add water. It has water. I have cleaned this ice maker every time it showed time to clean. I’m super frustrated as this was an expensive purchase for a year of use.

Lovely ice machine

I thought I wouldn't need an ice maker, but here we are. I've had this machine for the past few weeks now and it has been great for me and cooling down here in the Southern heat! I was getting tired having to fill ice trays and storage buckets with water and ice over and over again so I decided to splurge on this. This machine makes ice so quickly and that lasts so long! It's really made my beverages outside of just water a lot more enjoyable. It's aided by an app if you decide to use it which allows you to schedule ice making which is neat. I do wish the lighting inside was a bit better to see if the machine is dirty or if the bulb was changed to something that could kill bacteria.

We love this when it works, but we are on our second one that hasn’t lasted a year. If you’re wealthy enough to buy a new one every year then go for it.
