We love this product! It creates ice quickly and serves the needs of an active family of four. It is easy to set up, clean and again produces ice quickly.

Great product, well designed and takes up very little space. It’s very quiet when making ice and easy to set up. I haven’t been back to Sonic since purchasing the Opal 2.0 with side tank. Side tank is a must!!!!

Hose leaks...everywhere

I wanted this soooo bad, but the tank s hose leaks all over the place.the side tank is poorly made..water goes everywhere...and I'm not alone..it's just an great idea, pulled off poorly

Failure out of the box

Out of the box the maker did not work. I tried some of the troubleshooting methods I found on youtube with no luck. Would recommend to anyone not to purchase this machine

Awful Noise

We have enjoyed the ice maker but it sounds like a cat screeching. I have tried fixes online which work for a day and then start again. Big disappointment for the money spent. A year warranty is ridiculous when it’s a faulty product without the option of an extended warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great buy!!!

Love my GE ice machine, I bought another brand previously and it broke down in less than a year. The GE is much quieter, the water tank is bigger and the ice is softer to chew. I should have bought this one from the beginning. You will not regret this purchase.
