From not sure we really need one as our fridge makes ice, to the most used item in our kitchen. My wife has wanted one for quite a while. Living in Vegas it will pay for itself pretty quickly.

Side Tank Not Working after One Month

I love the ice size and consistency with this ice maker however After about one month the water is not flowing from the side tank into the water reservoir. I have cleaned the machine with vinegar as instructed however the problem is not resolved. Very disappointing as this was an expensive purchase and extra for the side tank. Now we have to constantly fill manually to get ice.

We're so very sorry that your Opal isn't operating properly. We certainly understand how disruptive something like this can be and we're glad to assist you!
If you have the Opal side tank accessory installed, but water won't flow from the tank to icemaker, this usually means there is an air bubble in the line.
Check the following:
*Check that the hoses are connected properly
*Make sure the hoses are lying flat
*Lift the tank from the icemaker and raise it 4-5 inches until water starts to flow; then place the tank back in position.

Very quiet, love the nugget ice!

Product arrived with a small dent in the back right side. Hopefully that won't be a problem. Sanitized and got it running-so far, so good. Currently wondering if it ever gets "full". Only about 1/3 that I've seen up until now.

Great Ice!!

This ice maker has saved us a lot of money since we received it as a gift from our kids as we no longer have to buy bags of ice. The ice from our refrigerator has a funny taste to it so we don't use it. Also, I like to chew ice so these nuggets are perfect. We keep several bags made ahead of family events at our house so we always have plenty for everyone.

Every lasting ice cold nuggets of goodness

This ice maker performs exactly as we needed it, to ensure our family of four never runs out of ice. We each drink up to 100 ounces a day of cold water and drinks so this machine is impressive, which makes the cleaning and water refill well worth it!
