Worth the money!

Upgraded from another brand of nugget icemaker that had broken after just over a year. The Opal 2.0 is so much quieter than the other brand and the external tank makes refilling so much easier and less messy.
Also, the ice is a little softer making it more chewable.
The ability to control the icemaker though choice commands and Alexa routines are also very useful features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Ice, Bad Noises

I love the ice that this machine produces. Best ice on the market for countertop ice makers. However, the noise can be very annoying. I had to return three machines because the whining noise was so bad. The ice would start to come and then get stuck somehow which would cause the machine to make the whining and screeching noises.
I would recommend this to a friend!

JUST PURCHASED AND INSTALLED THE GE PROFILE OPAL NUGGET COUNTERTOP ICE MAKER. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE EASE OF INSTALLATION AND HOW QUICK ICE BEGAN TO BE PRODUCED. IT HAS BEEN A GREAT ADDITION TO MY HOME APPLIANCES.

Best birthday gift (with a plug) that I ever got. It's been great having ice when needed and not the icky water from the faucet, we use bottled. Love the size of the ice as well.
