Makes great ice!

I bought this machine almost a month ago, it’s fairly easy to use. It makes great nugget ice and it’s a must have if you love ice.

Great icemaker, the nugget ice is lovely, and the production rate is really good, too. Though I do wish they'd add a UV light inside the storage tank and ice bin too, more germicidal stuff never goes amiss, and it would cut down on how often I'd have to clean it.

I love nugget Ice

I have used these ice makers for awhile. I started off with the first nugget ice machine that came out. I love nugget ice and I thought that by buying this machine it would save me money. Well...I always get the warranty and I am glad I do because my machine usually starts to act like a little butt and that's when I have to call and use my warranty. By then it is almost to the end of my warranty so GE or who ever the warranty is through always tells me that they no longer make that ice machine so I have to get the next upgraded version or the next generationis what GE says. Which would be nice in most cases except for this last time. I really liked my ice maker and the look, color and size of the machine. But of course they don't make that one and I was upset because I really did like that one. But if I wanted my ice I had no choice but to upgrade to the next generation. So I did. Now I am really missing my machine. Don't get me wrong this one is nice to, but I really liked my last one. To end this story, I love my ice and I love having a nugget ice machine so you can take it and learn to love it or figure it out to get your own ice!!

Fantastic upgrade over the original version

This machine produces the best crunchy ice. There's only two of us in this house and we go through at least a tank of water each day. The lights to tell you when to clean and when it's making ice is way better than the spinning wheel on the earlier version.

Nugget ice ROCKS

Easy to fill with water. Large water and ice capacity. 10/10 would buy again. Note, if making and storing ice in your freezer, you WILL need a 5 prong ice pick. Freezing wet ice tends to clump together.

I love this machine and can’t believe I have been missing out for years on this! I highly recommend! I can set it up on a schedule so I always have ice in the morning for iced coffee or when I get off work for drinks and I don’t have to leave it running constantly!
