Good ice machine

Good looking, matches my other appliances, the cubes are the perfect size, I purchased the site tank which makes things very easy. It is programmed to my phone. I can turn it on and off with ease from my app.

I find it absolutely ridiculous that you can’t control when you want ice to be made and when you don’t. Every time you open and close the bucket to get ice it Automatically starts making more ice even though you don’t need it and starts dripping water into the bucket ultimately melting all the ice it’s made for the past hour. Side tank is faulty and will randomly stop giving water to the machine

I love the Opal 2.0 it makes ice quickly stays cold for a while, fairly easy to clean, and the buffet ice is just top tier!
I’m less enthusiastic about the app as I’ve had a few issues with it, but the opal 2.0 itself is amazing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect nugget ice

Got this as a gift for the wife being that she loves her some chick-fil-A ice and this little machine did not disappoint. It was a hit, easy to set up, even though the instructions can be a little confusing but a quick YouTube search and it was a piece of cake. Started making ice in about 20 minutes or so after setup, takes awhile to fill the bin but if you plan ahead or bag it as we do, it's perfect. The machine itself looks nice and sleek, I read some comments that it was a little noisy but for our household it's barely noticeable. The only con I could say about it would be that it's a little pricey but compared to dedicated nugget ice machines that run in the thousands, this fits the bill without having to run any connections or take up valuable space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks great, Does the job it is intended to do. It goes into defrost mode often and it needs a place for a constant water line so you dont have to refill all the time. Overall a good machine, just a little pricy. If it lasts a few years it will be worth it.

Good ice maker but misleading picture

The picture shows it having ice full to the brim but it actually doesn't keep the ice cold enough to not melt so the bottom melts out as the top condignly refills. what happens because the ice melts is it creates more of a ramp of ice running from the bottom of the where you see it to the spout at the top back where the ice comes out and then it stops making ice because the ice ramp is blocking the spout even thought the bucket isn't full. Even if you pull the bin out and shake it often I can never get the bucket to completely fill up like they have shown.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One month in — works great. Easy to maintain and use. Family loves the nugget ice. We turn on every morning, ‘rest’ it overnight. Side tank is perfect. Pre-filter water as some reviews indicated issues when adding a filter.
