My mom and my cousin had one of these and I had to get one for myself! I love this kind of ice. The machine works great! I use it daily!

I'm on my 2nd Opal in less than 6 months. The 1st was because of the much reported grinding noise the machine made and it was replaced with a refurbished unit that I don't think will be much better
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love our nugget ice maker.easy to set up and easy to clean.Fresh ice whenever you want.For the loved one that loves to chew on ice. This is sure to satisfy your craving and it is easy on the teeth. Thanks to the Opal ice maker..

Very pleased with this ice maker after trying other brands. Having to use distilled water due to hard water in my area, but makes excellent “Sonic” ice.

Got this for the office. It kicks out ice quickly and we've never run out even though our employee group is large. Worked perfect in a spot where we don't have water hookup. Easy to clean and sanitize. Highly recommend.
