My 2nd Opal and not disappointed!!!

I really didn’t need to buy another one but my neighbor who is my daughter and my grandkids would come so much to buy ice. I recently moved, they were more sad about the ice machine than me moving, lol. So I gave her the old one and purchased a new one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have an open kitchen and living room and I love that I can program it to start about an hour before I get up and have fresh ice. But also if the husband is snoring too bad and I wanna sleep on the couch in silence I don't hear it running all night. Friends come over to visit and always ask to take a cup of ice home with them.

I would have rated it higher but we’re on our 2nd machine. The first one screeched loudly and had to be replaced the first week we had it.

It's got a minor flaw, but overall it's great

This machine is a little confusing to set up, but once you've attempted it, it becomes clear. Same goes for the weekly cleaning. A little spilled water, and you've figured it out. Makes a LOT of ice in a short time, the running noise isn't as bad as some people have told me it was., and so far (1 month in) I've had zero issues with the unit, which I use all day everyday. The clip in the back where the tube ends get plugged in falls off easily, which could have been easily fixed (design flaw) but its not a deal breaker. You just have to pick it up and put it back on if you aren't extra careful each time you plug in ends of the tube in. Optional water filter is a nice touch, but I just start with filtered water so I didn't need to buy that additional feature. Easy to use, and good quality construction. A+

The machine is easy to use! I love the nugget ice and it makes ice pretty fast! My favorite feature is the app! I love being able to set a schedule so I have ice when I come home from work! I highly recommend if you are wanting a great quality nugget ice maker!

Great icemaker

I had a minor issue when I first got my icemaker with the power switch. It was very temperamental and I had to try a few times before I could actually get it to turn on or off. Contacted customer support, they sent a new right out. I love the soft crunchable ice. I was afraid that it would melt quickly but it does not. I also love being able to program the start and stop time. All I have to remember to do is give it water. This is a pricey machine but in my opinion, it is worth it.
