Great ice. When water is pulled from the side tank it’s the noisiest thing i’ve ever heard. Nearly unbearable. It’s a loud squealing and i’m about to trow the thing out the window.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The product is really simple to set up even with the initial cleaning process. It takes about 60 mins from unboxing ,cleaning and filling the unit and you should have ice dropping if you follow the steps diligently.

So happy with my Opal. I love the nugget ice and it makes increasing my daily water intake a breeze. I’ve also loved entertaining and never having to purchase bagged ice.
