The GE Opal Ice Maker is absolutely the best purchase I have made in quite some time. I am addicted to the ice it makes, and it makes plenty. Truly remarkable. It makes the ice cubes that come from a refrigerator both inferior and obsolete. The WiFi and the ability to schedule when ice is made is simply amazing. Well done, GE. Very happy customer.

Works great and has an app to start making ice before you wake up so that there is plenty of ice for the family as they head out the door.

I love my ice maker! It works as advertised. The ice is light and crunchy. I haven’t had any issues and the noise is minimal, like it’s not even there. The app is amazing. I love that I can turn on and off my machine remotely. I bought other machines and this is by far the best one. I recommend it to all my friends and family.

I have had my ice machine now for over a month and can’t tell you enough how much we love it! It is great how you can use the app to turn it on and turn it off and even have the scheduled times to have it start. I love waking up in the morning with a fresh set of ice ready for me to fill my cup. It has been the best purchase we have made in a long time. It is easy to clean and maintain the water level and I really do appreciate the fact that I can use my filtered water to fill the tank.

"Sonic" ice available at home

My freezer ice maker went out, so I finally had the excuse to buy this ice maker. Though it is a bit expensive, I had it set up, cleaned, and producing ice in less than an hour. If you keep it on, it keeps ice pretty well, and if you turn it off, you will have about a glass full of ice in 20 minutes. It isn't loud, and sits nicely on my counter. If you chew ice - this is a must have for your kitchen.
