This is a very high quality product! It even allows you to connect it to your home Wi-Fi to control it and set it up on a schedule! Perfect so I have it turn on about 5 and have plenty of ice to start the day!!

Have only had ice maker for about 3 weeks - easy to get started out of the box - did the cleaning and then started making ice. You get a full tray pretty quickly and it really isn’t that loud. We have it set up to come on at 4:30 every morning and within 30 min have as much ice as we need. Haven’t done the cleaning yet but use filtered water (whole house - don’t buy it only for ice maker). Kids love the nugget ice - just like Chick Fil A! Love it so far but like I said, it has only been a couple weeks.

Not a silent gadget and ice is great, but…

I got this appliance for Christmas. The ice is wonderful, but several times now the “cleaning” light is on, I mean for hours!! I unplug it and wait a few moments, plug it back in and the message goes away. Is that normal?

Makes ice quick. The only downside is the noise and it makes, it’s louder when it’s first starting up for the first few minutes and quiet down but we had to move it into a pantry area because of the noise level. Or maybe we have a bad unit, don’t have anything to check it against.

Dissatisfied is an understatement

We brought our ice make home followed instructions and enjoyed it for Abt two days. Then a loud grinding sound started to happen once a day and it increased to multiple times a day by the two week point.
Fortunately Nebraska Furniture refunded our money and we purchased something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
