Oustanding design and ice production

We started with the first prototype of this machine from kickstarter by 1st Build before GE bought the product. GE’s refinements are outstanding.

It’s a pretty good ice maker. It actually kept up with a party gathering of a decent amount of people so it suprised me. The only things that I see an issue with is if it’s on for extended periods of time or to keep ice going most of the day the tank is kind of small in a sense. It is a bit bulky for people who don’t have much counter space but all in all it’s a pretty good ice maker. The other issue I had was I bought the filters to use for it and I cannot get it to run properly with the extra filter.

Love this ice maker just for that sonic ice. Love that it has an extra capacity attachment when we have company over for more ice. Cleaning process is a bit too long to clean.

I had the original version of this ice maker a couple of years ago. It started to make a noise that I didn't like and I decided to take it apart. Long story short, it was never the same after that. I have missed this ice around the house since then, so I bought the 2.0 version and I couldn't be happier. It's quiet, stylish, makes great ice, and the addition of the side tank is a great bonus.

Great product thus far. Makes ice easily and quickly. Like the side reservoir. Only constructive feedback is perhaps use a higher contrasting letter color to ice maker color.
