This is the GOOD ICE! So far it works really well. Super easy to clean and descaling is not that difficult. Highly recommend to use reverse osmosis, water, or distilled water.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great ice, bad product.

We have had rhe machine since December 2023 and it’s already making a loud noise. Squeaky noise. We’ve tried moving the machine to different locations and it doesn’t stop. It’s very annoying.

Throughout operation, this Opal Ice Maker will occasionally enter its defrosting cycle. During this automatic cycle, you may hear a squeaking sound while the unit removes frost from its mechanisms. This is normal operation.

Ice is not ice. The ice that this machine makes is long-lasting and crunchable, which would seem to be opposites.
It makes lots of ice, quickly, and the hopper always seems to be full.

Not one thing I can negative about the Opal Ice Maker..what's not to love from the ease of use and the Ice. Especially love the feature of side tank for my household who likes ice.

I really enjoy my ice maker! I had a hard time finally getting the one that actually made the pellet ice! You wouldn’t believe how many ice makers claim they will make the pellet ice, just to get it and it’s the wrong kind. Glad I finally got the right machine
