Not a he cheapest ice maker but works great

I purchased this ice maker after my Samsung refrigerator ice maker kept freezing up. There are cheaper ice makers out there but one works very well and makes consistently good ice. The WIFI control is a nice feature although limited. One thing that is wished this ice maker had is a built in UV light to kill bacteria and mold. It seems

We have had the Scotsman pebble ice makers for years but with the family size shrinking, no need for the larger bin of pebble ice. This product produces beautiful pebble ice without the need for a separate water line to be installed and no drain pump is required. Easy peasy.

GE Opal 2.0 Nugget Ice Maker with Side Tank

This ice maker uses less water than the previous model. The storage bin stays cold and does not lose ice due to melting. It only needs cleaning every other week instead of every week. It is fast and the ice is soft to chew! I highly recommend this product.

We had a competitor brand for 2.5 years but it ended up dying. We chose to go this model and have enjoed every single nugget. I enjoy seeing the features come on “making ice”, “cleaning” and I love that you can adjust the lighting and have the option of no light at all. Super easy to fill and clean. I have already bought one for my daughter who is pregnant and loves ice! Will keep recommending this ice maker to anyone interested!

This ice maker has become our default when our family wants any ice. The expansion tank makes it so much more convenient and the ice is always a perfect texture and consistency. Would definitely recommend.
