The Absolute Best Pellet Ice Maker

We owned the 1st generation Opal Ice Maker and it was great! It eventually quick working and we started to pass on buying a new one because of the cost. We enjoy pellet ice so much, we took the plunge and bought it. Was the BEST CHOICE we made. Everything about the ice maker is improved and a joy to have. What I like best, is how easy it is to clean...I actually look forward to cleaning it vs. the old maker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No. Gets moldy. Stops working. Super loud. Motor not capable of making ice. Always defrosting.

This ice maker is easy to operate, all you do is add water. The ice is chewable and awesome--not even sure if Sonic's ice is this good. You'll need to clean it on a regular schedule, especially if you're in an area with really hard water like I am. I got the side water tank, which makes this extremely hands-free. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is b/c its a little loud when making ice, but outside of that, its a great ice machine.

I did a lot of research and reviews on nugget ice makers and this one was rated #1 that doesn’t always mean it’s the best but it does here. It’s super quiet makes ice very fast and the ice tastes great if you’re on the fence about getting one don’t waste money on the cheaper ones that will tear up in 2 weeks get the best name brand in appliances get a GE you won’t be disappointed. We love ours you will too! Have a great day
