SO loud!

I love the ice, but this machine is horribly loud. When it is defrosting, I cannot hear the television that is on in the same room. If I am upstairs sleeping it will wake me up. I will be reaching out to GE to see if this is how this item should be or is this one a lemon.

A loud scraping sound is not normal. A vinegar cleaning will need to be performed in this instance. This will reduce/eliminate the scraping noise and should reduce/eliminate it going into defrost. Terrible product!!!! Waste of money!

It’s awful! Afternoon owning it for just a few weeks, it has stopped making ice without priming the pump. Every time it is powered off or temporarily runs out of water, it will not begin making ice again unless the pump
Is primed. It’s junk!

Already squeaks loudly

Already squeaks is very annoying tried cleaning and "defrosting" so it sits unplugged on the counter.

Amazing product if you keep up with it

The end result of ice is amazing! I bought this machine for my girlfriend and she loves it. I only use distilled water in the machine and I still get clogging and have to pinch the hoses often. It’s pretty unstable unless you keep up with the maintenance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Expensive and extremely noisy

I would not recommend this ice maker to anyone. Ours was so noisy you could talk to each other it ran for 12 hours and made about 2 cups of ice. I should have know it wasn't worth the the money when I found a Facebook page just about complaints

Stopped working less than 60 days of use

I’m extremely dissatisfied in this ice maker, only two adults use it and have taken great care of it. Was working perfectly fine until yesterday and now it’ll say making ice, then add water. Every single tank is full and ready for use. Still nothing! For the price of this, I’m extremely disappointed
