I love this ice maker. The nuggets are perfect for chewing. lol My only wish was that the ice didn't melt in the drawer.

Dead out of the box

Dead out of the box and they wouldn’t send a new one at first. I had to do a warranty claim. Seller eventually took it back as a return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Decent but could be better

We love the ice. That’s the only thing we love. This machine is very large, very loud, and very expensive. Unfortunately it only came in one color where I purchased so it matches nothing else in my kitchen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are happy to help! It is normal for the Opal to flush the system with water for approximately 5 minutes. You may see or hear water running during this process - this is normal. If your Opal seems loud during this process, it may need more water.

Love hate

Bought as a gift for my wife. She loves the ice. That said, it's loud. And if you have the side tank, it is REALLY loud. We had to air gap the appliance from the side tank to sleep at night. It is loud.
