Somewhat disappointed

We enjoy the ice this machine makes. The problem I have is it is just too noisy. I have tried noise-suppression material that does not help. I have had to set the schedule to make ice in the early morning hours when we are asleep.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great ice maker

I think it’s a wonderful ice make especially if you love nugget ice. The amount of ice it produces is great, and love the side tank with it. My only flaw and reason for 4 stars is the weekly descaling notification that we get, and having to clean it have it sit for 18 plus hours. Other than that it’s an excellent ice machine.

Bad choice

It was a bad purchase. After 3 days it started making a screeching noise and haven’t been able to get it replaced. Just sitting in our counter.

Best appliance I own

I was given this as a Christmas gift after returning 2 other ones that did not have the ability to keep ice frozen. This machine is quiet, makes enough ice and keeps it frozen leaving room in my freezer for food. I use this ice all day in my coffee, water, smoothies or soda. It’s an investment but I have found it to be worth the price.

As long as you keep up the cleaning, the ice machine will last. I have mine hooked up to Wi-Fi so it tells me when I need to clean or descale my machine. I love that feature as well as the ice it makes. It’s perfect and everyone loves it, they take home to go cups of it!

This icemaker is relatively easy to set up. It is moderately loud, about the level of a quiet dishwasher. The ice is fantastic! Our liquid intake has definitely gone up since purchasing the icemaker. Highly recommend the side water tank option - much easier to fill with water. Only negatives are the ice will form a pile and trigger the ice maker to shut off before the bin is completely full. You have to spread the ice out to get it to start making ice again. Also requires periodic cleaning/descaling. Well the worth the minor gripes for great quality nugget ice.

Love the ice, hate the cleaning

I absolutely love the ice. Makes nugget ice quickly. I hate that I have to bleach it weekly. I feel it should be more automated. Also, I would love a way to connect to a water line so that I don't have to fill up the side tank daily.
