Not worth the hassle

I lived in an area where I was supposed to go 5-6 weeks before cleaning. I started getting notices after 3 days that it needed to be descaled. We switched to using distilled water, and that didn't help either. If we went a week without cleaning, the machine would start making moaning noises.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great idea, missed execution.

I really wanted this to work out. I loved the ice it made but had to return the first one due to it not working properly right out of the box. The second one returned less than 30 days for the same reason. The ice maker would continually go into defrost mode and melt all the ice it made. There was plenty of space behind the unit and the sides were unobstructed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great ice maker!

This little beauty makes a good amount of ice quickly and easily! I love the side reservoir and the tilt feature rn the ice bin. Definitely a great addition to my kitchen!

Made noises instead of ice. Tried everything to get it to work properly. Even tried to exchange it for another one. Had the same exact issues.

Don’t waste your money.

This unit worked for two weeks and then the pump went out. Replacement has been a nightmare. Never again.
