I've purchased just about every type of ice maker out there and was always disappointed with them. And along came the GE Opal 2. Wow this thing is fantastic. It's everything I've been looking for. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this ice machine. I bought this product because I love the good ice but didn't know what to expect. This ice machine exceeded all of my expectations. It was packaged very well so I had no concerns of damage in shipping. It was very easy to set up and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. I use it constantly and my guests love it as well. I use distilled water to avoid having to descale it because we have very hard water. The cleaning process is easy. I recommend setting it up close to the sink as this machine is heavy to move & it has to be near the sink when going through the cleaning cycle. I had no problem downloading the app and connecting to my phone via wifi. I enjoy the ability to turn it on before leaving work/restaurant/shopping so I have fresh ice when I get home. This is an expensive product but definitely well worth the money.
