It’s a nice machine. The ice is perfect and there is always plenty. It does have to be cleaned very often. I think the extra tank is worth not having to refill the main tank all the time. We go through about one of the extra tanks per day.

This machine is incredible. The ifecis perfect for a lot of drinks, especially tiki cocktails. Only con is that it requires cleaning fairly frequently, but it's worth it for the incredible ice.

Never more disappointed in a purchase

I just returned my third and final ice maker. The third machine stopped making ice and continually indicated to add water even when the water reservoir was full. I cleaned and desalinated as directed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NICE SIZED ICE

WE LOVE OUR OPAL ICE MAKER. ICE IS MADE QUICKLY. NOT TOO LOUD. I DID GIVE MYSELF ANOTHER JOB HAVING TO FILL THE WATER JUG FROM THE FILTERED REFRIGERATOR WATER. MY WATER JUG IS NOT RIGHT NEXT TO THE ICE MAKER-THE WATER LINE IS LONG ENOUGH.

Love the ice nuggets!!

Makes ice nuggets in under 20 minutes, love how if you leave the ice in the hopper and it starts to melt the same melted water is returned to the reservoir and resided to make more ice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
