I cant wait to use this!!! I have been wanting one for a year. It is not as loud as the comments have said. No different than the ice maker or fridge. Would not put it in a quiet office, but its an ice maker not a coffee pot.

I finally got THE GOOD ICE

As a Registered Nurse, eating crushed ice was one of my favorite pastimes. Now I'm able to enjoy this at home. It was very easy to setup, and easy to connect to WIFI. It literally started making ice within minutes.
AWESOME PRODUCT!!

I love nugget ice but it’s hard to find…and almost impossible to find a machine for home. The Opal 2.0 is absolutely wonderful! It is expensive…but it’s definitely worth it you’re a nugget-ice lover like myself. Some people say it is too loud but in my experience, it is only slightly louder than my refrigerator and I don’t even notice it anymore. With GE’s smart HQ app, we’ve set it up to only run during the daytime. The only thing I’ve found that I don’t like is getting the ice out. When you pull the ice bin out to get the ice, quite a bit of water drips out so using the drip tray is essential. I also got the side-tank accessory and highly recommend it. Without it, you have to fill up the water reservoir which is under the ice bin. All-in-all, it is exactly what I was looking for and I’m very happy with my purchase.

I’ve been wanting this type of ice maker for a long time. I’ve had others none can compare. Although I didn’t realize the size and didn’t even think about the startup process, I love it! It makes plenty of ice and quick! Definitely recommend this investment!

Literally the best ice maker ever! I recommend to all! Perfect for all your summer drinks! My iced coffees taste ten times better with this ice! Pregnancy ice cravings? This is perfect! Trust me! So easy set up and clean up! One thing I do recommend is to use distilled water.

This is the best ice maker! The consistency, texture, and size makes this ideal for any drink. Our home keeps it running 24/7 because we use it that much. Love how easy it is to set up and there is virtually zero maintenance. We don't have it attached to our water filtration system but the fact that you can is a plus. Truly everything we were looking for.
