We love our new ice maker. Setup was easy and we had ice quickly. It will come in handy when we have guests!! The soft ice is perfect.

Loving this new nugget ice maker. Side water holder is nice to have. Ice is made pretty quick - always seems to keep up with the high demand in our house. Option to schedule being able to shut the machine down over night is cool.

Control ice maker schedule and operation remotely!

In our week of use since installing the Opal ice maker we've had nothing but praise for it. Scheduling the ice maker operation remotely, through the provided mobile phone app, was a breeze. Establishing a durable connection to our wifi network was also simple. The type of pellet ice created is absolutely the best and is significantly colder than expected. The size of the bin and speed of creation is entirely adequate for our small family, but for larger families and gatherings, the ice created may need to be moved to supplemental storage containers occasionally since the ice maker will automatically shut off when the integrated bin is full.

We love our new ice maker. It is wonderful! We are sonic ice junkies and this has been the best substitute. I am sure within 6 months it will pay for itself because of the significant decrease in our sonic bill.
