Best thing that ever happened to me!

My life is transformed! Beverages will never be the same! If only I could travel with my peddle ice maker?! Looks chic on my credenza. It’s a tall machine so it didn’t fit on my counter tops in my rather retro kitchen. But all is good because it can function without being hooked up to a water supply. I use it all day every day. Cleaning it is a bit of a process but once I did it I realized it’s actually ok. I went a month without cleaning it and it began to squeak like a dying animal…. Now that I’ve thoroughly doused it in white vinegar it’s back to being a quiet cat (metaphorically speaking)

It fills and replenishes quickly. I would recommend the side filter for larger households. Great investment!

Great Ice! Extra noise

This has changed the game for me. I am drinking even more water because I look forward to the “good ice”! It’s fabulous! The only thing I did not expect was the noise. The motor is loud and I had to press the back panel to muffle the vibrating noise. If it were quieter, I would absolutely give this a five star review.

Great Ice, fast and lots of it!

Received the Opal Nugget Ice Maker quicker than expected. Setting up takes a little bit of time due to the cleaning of the internals and the tanks. Once completed, and filled, I had ice within the hour and a full bin in about 4 hours. While the machine is a bit pricy, the quality of the ice and quantity output is really great.
The only thing I wish is that the unit came with a water filter to get started with and try out. I purchased them afterwards and will begin use when I descale and clean next time. Highly recommended for Nugget Ice lovers!

Perfect for a small office
