I have wanted a nugget ice maker for as long as I can remember. I was going to get one years ago but it was a commercial one and I couldn't justify the purchase or price. I drink a lot of water and other fluids and I never run out of ice. Make sure you fill the tank regularly and not allow the water to run out. Its not quiet but no louder than the dishwasher, nor is it small, its bigger than my Bunn and I have it on my island. I dig it, so thats all that matters. If your on the fence, get one, its worth every penny and you wont regret it. Slushies at home are way better than Sonics nasty and a lot better than being in the hospital. My kids are grown but now they all want one too. The nuggets are not only chewy but contagious. Merry Christmas to me! Ho Ho Ho

Did you know that when a person stays hydrated, they experience higher levels of energy, healthier looking skin, think more clearly and enjoy many other health benefits? Since having the GE Profile Nugget Ice Maker in our home, my entire family has increased their fluid intake and are enjoying the texture and taste of the ice by itself, with water and other beverages. Once you follow the easy setup instructions, the machine will be making ice in a very short amount of time.

I read reviews and researched and was still skeptical. I purchased on a Black Friday sale and only regret was not buying sooner. The hopper keeps up with my large family. It feels heavy and well built. 100% satisfied
