Does not keep the Ice Forzen

It's great at making ice. However, for such a high price tag, it should also refrigerate the ice. It's inconvenient to have to move the ice to the freezer as it starts to melt. For this reason, I returned mine. Hopefully, the next version can refrigerate the ice, I could but it again.

Consistently makes ice as advertised. Good quantity and quality of ice. We use for kids' sports, and the ice stays cold in their hydroflasks and does not melt.

I love this ice maker so much that I bought a second one . It’s makes perfect nugget size ice . It’s very easy to clean and looks great on your counter top . The wifi function is an added bonus .

Soft chewy ice perfect for cocktails and everyday drinks. Fast. Quiet. Easy to set up. Love it! The ice keeps well in a plastic bag in the freezer so you can make several batches, freeze it for later and then turn the machine off. I run mine once or twice a week and have plenty of ice.

We love our ice maker! We use it every morning for smoothies and water bottles. Fresh ice on demand when we aren’t even home thanks to the handy wifi feature! Even allows us to set up schedules to make ice before we get up! A genius product with easy assembly and easy weekly cleanings… yes every week you get to sanitize your machine! Soft ice!

No longer works

I loved this machine cleaned with vinegar like manual states. The machine is saying add water, well is full side tank is full. I tried the plug the hole for 15 seconds started taking water then went right back to add water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The message you are getting is a sign that your machine needs to be descaled. Follow the instructions in your manual, soaking for 18 hours and then running through a full rinse cycle.
Note: Cleaning instructions will vary depending on which model Opal you own. If your model has a round button on the front, we have cleaning and descaling instructions (including discussion of rinsing) in this article: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=39640&_ .

Ice maker always in defrost makes loud moves ask the time when it's running. Not worth price. Would not recommend. Also ordered a filter from website and never recieved it.
