DO NOT BUY - ON FIFTH MAKER

This ice maker is HORRIBLE. The concept is great and the ice is so so amazing, that is when it works. We had our first machine for about 4-5 months before something broke inside and started leaking everywhere. We got our second machine this is where it goes downhill it started making a screeching noise and would go into defrost constantly. They send a new one, same issue but this one couldn’t event make a full tray of ice not to mention the box it was delivered in was destroyed and the unit had a dent on the side. Another one was sent it ran perfect for literally 48 hours and then has barely made any ice it’s just been in defrost mode. Save yourself some time and headache and do not buy. So unfortunate, it could’ve been a great product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Ice maker but one flaw from the original

Little saddened that the ice maker container does not have slots in them to let the melting ice drain. The original design had this feature and we wanted to upgrade. We make a lot of ice and bag it and without the water being able to drain off, all the excess water goes into our bags of ice which then causes clumps.

Love the ice maker but it didn’t come with a filter? Thought that was strange. Makes ice quick and love that the melted ice goes back into reservoir to continue making ice

Steady supply of great ice

I bought this to increase ice supply in house for 2 people, the fridge wasn't cutting it. I love that we can program a schedule ans on/off wireless via the app. Guests like the experience of scooping their own ice.

Ice is perfect

Had this unit for a little over a month. It makes enough ice to keep up with my needs plus ice to spare. The app which allows you to set a schedule to turn the unit off and on is super convenient and it is nice having ice made and waiting when I get home. Some have said they thought the unit was noisy, but I don’t think the noise is an issue. Sometimes when filling the side tank it will air lock and it shows the add water indicator when there is still water in the tank, but I’ve found by removing and reinstalling the tank and allowing it to bubble, the issue resolves itself. Overall, very satisfied with this product.
