Works like it should. Set up and instructions were easy to follow. Once set up and ready started making ice within the first hour, and filled container in a few hours after that. So far so good. We like it

NOT as great as I expected it to be

I've watched this ice maker for years wanting to purchase but wouldn't because of the price. I finally decided to get it. It's defiantly not what I expected it would be. You have to clean it with bleach water once a week or your ice ends up tasting like metal and it's a time-consuming process to stop everyday life and clean it. Not to mention it's loud and the ice doesn't last long. Had I kept the box I would have returned it asap. For the price of it I would have expected to be satisfied and I'm not. Such a bummer. I'd dreamed of this ice maker for a couple years as mentioned above. I wish I'd never bit the bullet and bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the ice!

We really enjoy this ice maker a lot!! The only con I have is that it really goes through the distilled water quickly even if we’re not using it because the ice melts slowly in the machine.

Good but defective product. Unhelpful support

Product arrived with a failure in the manufacturing of the water tank. They failed to glue the two halves together. Contacted support who told me I needed to return the entire product which is silly when only the external tank was a problem. Otherwise the ice maker works well. Our last opal only lasted 2.5 years so we will see how long this one last.

Nugget ice

Makes ice fast. Love the nugget ice like sonic has. The water tank was not well thought out. Holds 3/4 a gallon water. Since you buy water in gallon jugs you always have some left over. Would have been nice for the tank to hold more than a gallon of water.so when it was low you are able to add a whole gallon at a time. Otherwise I live this ice maker

Amazing ice but squeaks a ton

We love the ice but have to statically set it to make ice when we are away cause the machine makes a squeaking sound
