Even better than the original Opal!

I owned one of the very first original Opal made by FirstBuild. It finally gave out after 5 years of daily use. When I bought this model I expected a slight upgrade over the original but I was pleasantly surprised to find it is much better! The extra side tank is an excellent addition and reduces the need for daily filling. The app gives much better information and control over the operation of the ice maker.

You won’t regret buying this! I mulled over the decision for over a year. Glad I bought the 2.0 with Wi-Fi! Now it makes it easier to make ice at any time!

We had the ice maker for 2 weeks when it started to make horrible noises and quit making ice. Currently waiting on opal support to help rectify the situation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s a great ice machine and has the best crunchy ice and overall has great quality. It’s does make some loud sounds while making ice but it’s not overly loud .
