My husband received this as a birthday gift from his parents and we are absolutely obsessed with it. We love pellet ice and having it easily accessible at home has been a game changer. The set up was also very easy and the descaling process has also been easy as well. We recommend this thing to everyone who comes to our home.

Water tank leaking

Ice machine works great but side tank leaks so I plan to return tank today to have the side tank replaced

Quieter than original

Quieter than the original. This is my 3rd unit. I originally had the 1st build indegogo pre purchase. This seems quieter. My most recent opal lasted 2 years with reverse osmosis water. Going to be better about descaling this one. Hopefully it will last longer. The last one got very noisy in the end.

Love the Opal 2.0 Ice maker!

This machine is fantastic, and makes ice quickly. It does make a horrible squealing noise at times, but after a thorough cleaning cycle, the sound goes away. I highly recommend this machine for every day use.
