Was expecting a better product

After hearing from several friends about this product I couldn’t wait to purchase. The first 2 weeks it was great until I started noticing black pieces, what seem to be plastic, imbedded in the ice. I’ve cleaned the machine several times as well as the initial cleaning prior to use - still occurs.

We had an older version of this series and had to replace. We like the new updated style and the ice is still as amazing as the previous version!

quieter than expected, faster ice production than expected. ice lasts in bin for hours without compressor on making more. love the WiFi feature more than I expected as well, as it can be on a daily or weekly schedule without my attention. the side tank is important for convenience as well. would purchase again.
take care and do the recommended cleaning and descaling regularly.
