Great, but requires lots of attention.

This ice make makes great ice when it wants to. I has to be monitored constantly. If it isn’t the bin building a nice mountain in it and triggering that it is full it’s the add water notice when the side container is still full. Overall if you are looking for good nugget ice this machine will do the job.

It’s a cool appliance.

I was very excited for this purchase due to its appearance and Bluetooth connectivity. So far it’s okay but I don’t like how the container for the ice is not temperature controlled and will cause all the ice to melt causing it to use more electricity and not having ice available when you don’t have it on 24/7 or on a schedule.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As you know, the storage bin for the ice is not refrigerated. To have the freshest ice possible, cubes are constantly melting in the ice bin as new cubes are being produced. This is normal. Cubes may be wet/watery because water drips from the cutter grid and into the ice bin during the ice harvest cycle. This is due to the process of cutting the ice slab into cubes.

I really love my ice maker. I am a person that hates to drink water but now with the icemaker I am baited into drinking more water daily. I love the fact that I can program it to have ice made by the time I get in from work.
