My husband purchased this opal ice maker new for me for our 30th Anniversary. I wanted to wait to write a review to give time for an honest opinion. I love it!!! It’s awesome. It is well worth the money. While my daughter was pregnant , I would make several trips To her house to deliver special ice. Thank you GE Opal for an awesome well invested purchase.

We love the ice machine so far!! We use it every day set the machine to start making the ice before we wake up so it is ready for when I go to work to fill my 33oz water bottle.

I love how with this machine you are able to turn on the machine right before you head home from work and have a full container of ice ready for you. I also love side water tank that make the machine last so much longer between refills. 10/10 best nugget ice machine ever!

Great until it quits working

Worked great until it didn't. Machine would run, showing "defrosting," until we turned it off. When it DID make ice, it was great! Then we had more issues with it, and it has quit working all together. It will "run," but no ice ever makes. Machine has been cleaned properly per manual. Overpriced hunk of junk!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worth Every Penny

This product has been on my wish list for a long time and I am so glad I finally made the purchase. The ice is perfect and has been a game changer in my house. You are missing out if you don’t have one. It’s worth the investment
