Does what it is intended to do

Makes the small, chewable ice as intended. Can be noisy when first filling up or defrosting but noise reduces as more ice is produced. Makes ice within 20 minutes as stated but takes approximately 30 for a full cup. Takes up a decent amount of counter space but not much more than a typical countertop toaster oven. The wifi capability makes scheduling easy. If you like the crunchy, “Sonic” ice, this machine does the job.

This device is the Bentley of ice makers it has Wi-Fi an app to control it and the black stainless steel is beautiful!!

I love LOVE this ice maker!!! It pairs with my phone and let’s me know when it’s making ice, full, or needs to be cleaned! I can also schedule when it makes ice and that has been a life saver! This machine makes ice super quick too!! It’s perfect for the three of us! If you’re a ice eater like me this is the machine for you, we even convinced my dad to get one and he loves it! 10/10 for this family!

Family if 6 means a whole lot of water bottles to fill up daily. Our freezer ice maker could not keep up and neither could the 2 other smaller priced machines we purchased. This is expensive but worth every penny.

Love the 2.0 opal. Had ordered the first opal and had nothing but problems took a chance with the newest version and have been very happy with it!

No longer works

Stopped working after nine months, corrosion forming at the bottom. I regularly descaled, it seems like it produced a leak inside the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love this ice maker! it has been super handy. i don’t buy bags of ice anymore and it doesn’t take up too much space on the counter. its great for drinks or even just chewing it!!
