I’m extremely satisfied with 2.0. It’s a terrific next generation model and has many upgrades from the previous model. We love it and all of our friends have ice envy! We use every day.

We love it so far! Makes great ice and faster than expected! Only complaint is the instructions for setup- did a bunch of ge summer interns who came back from a work happy hour hammered write them? They made zero sense. I threw them out and it was much easier from there

I have wanted this ice maker for a while. When I saw that Opal 2.0 has wifi I immediately bought it. The app is so convenient and easy to connect. The side water reservoir is so handy. This ice is hands down the best ice I’ve ever tried, and I am an ice snob. 10/10 would recommend to EVERYONE!

This is a quiet and fast ice machine, within 10 minutes it is already dropping ice. The ability to use the app to set up a schedule or turn it on to have ice when I get home is awesome.

This thing makes ice quick!! Its a plug and play ice making solution. We are having dificulties in storage ice in bags, the ice that came out of the machine has a high level of not crystallized ice, and once in the bag, the ice sticks and form blocks. After 15~20 minutes ice was in the fridge, I punch the bag and ice loose, this has help to keep the ice loose, but this is not something that should keep you away.

Quite machine and makes the good sonic ice, easy to set up would buy with side tank allows you to do things and not worry about having to fill up the water or take ice tray out
