BEST ICE EVER

Love this ice maker- what a wonderful addition to my kitchen!
Pros: amazzzzing ice, fits on counter top easily, LOVE the additional water tank, refills rather quickly, I like that it essentially recycles the water of older ice that wasn't used
Cons: a little noisy- there is some vibration from the back of the unit that can be silenced with tapping it lightly- but it is a small frustration, ice closest to the bottom is harder- but that was expected of me- I like the softer chewy ice- so overnight sometimes the ice on top isn't as soft as I would like... not a complaint- just an observation

Better than the 1st model

This is my second icemaker since they came out. 1st one the compressor died and would not start after 4 years. This new model runs cooler and this helps in ice making. This model seems to be much better than the 1st model. The ice bucket is easier to get out and does not drip all over everything keeping the ice maker itself much cleaner. The only thing that is different mechanically/functionally is the water reservoir is a tad bit smaller only holding 3/4 gallon of water but that isn't a huge item that would take away from owning one of these nugget icemakers. All in all, this is a very good icemaker and keeps a household of 6 with plenty of nugget ice.

We absolutely LOVE our ice machine. It was not working for a bit and we PANICKED! No worries we figured out that the side tank was not level and all is well now (Whew). The only reason it does not get 5 STAR is due to the I swine price and the fact that it does make noises that irritate me especially after cleaning cycles.
I have owned one other brand and this one is by far the BEST CHOICE! Especially with our Texas heat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am an ice chewer and this ice is perfect. Small and easy to crunch. The unit is a little louder than I expected but I'm used to it. It make ice faster than my house hold needs and for parties I just dump a bunch of buckets full into a cooler or the freezer. I recommend using bottled or well-filtered water. Easy to set-up. Easy to clean. Would highly recommend.

Best ice ever! Bought and returned a different ice maker. Thought it was awesome and cheaper. Then we bought this one, which we wanted in the 1st place but didn't want to pay the price. But... this far exceeds the precious maker. Tastes great, makes a lot of ice very fast and is SO quiet. Ice chewers will love this machine. We in Texas love it as we need ice all the time!!! Neighbor and fellow ice chewer waited for our recommendation and now he has one too!

I think the product is great, only inconvenience is that you ha e to refill a self fill option with filter would make it better that way you only change out the filter and you always have ice.
