Freezes up

I loved my icemaker when we first received it, but six months later it started freezing up and now it doesn’t make any ice

Love this ice maker, it isn't loud and works like it should. We fill the reservoir up about every other day as we use a lot of ice.

Very pleased with capacity, speed and most importantly taste of the ice! We use a lot of ice for a small family and neither our old countertop machine nor our refrigerator machine (when it worked) could keep up with this model. The side tank makes a great machine even better!

We did research prior to this purchase for a great ice maker, this product meets and exceeds all of our expectations! The ice maker was easy to set up, easy to clean and whisper quiet. We are very pleased with this choice, Thanks!

Product is ok , manual is useless

Product came as expected, intact. For a high end GE product could be more seamless, certain aspects are cheap and does not fit properly (base for side tank). Manual for product is useless, you will figure it all with trial and error. They keep deleting my reviews , so seems you will never see a negative review. Will post on social media rather than here of that happens again

We have only used for a few days, but so far the ice machine has been working great . Easy to assemble and use . I recommend getting the side reservoir.

Everyone thought i was crazy when I bought it, but now everyone in my house loves it just as much as I do! The machine works great, we always have ice available and it is easy to clean. It makes a weird nose every now and again but nothing crazy. It’s quiet and perfect and we will never live without one.

It worked good for a few days then all of the ice for melt and it would make a horrible sound so we had to return it

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review on your Opal. So sorry to hear about it malfunctioning. As a side note, the ice that's made by the Opal will eventually melt; how quickly this happens also depends on where the Opal is located. However, that water is then reused to make new ice.
