Absolutely love this ice maker!! I love Sonic ice and now I have it at home!! It does a great job at keeping up with my families demand. Highly recommend this ice maker!

Good Idea, needs lots of work!

I would expect more from GE! I am on my second one in less than two weeks. The first one (out of the box) roared so loud you could hear in another room. The second one makes a loud speaking noise every time it starts to make a new batch of ice. I am contemplating how long to keep this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes awesome ice!

This is a great ice machine. It's a bit loud but still makes great ice. Love the WIFI feature that allows you to turn it on when you are away and have ice nuggets when you get home.

Your new icemaker may make sounds that are not familiar, but thankfully, most of these sounds are normal. Hard surfaces like the floor, walls, and countertops can amplify these sounds. Great product

This is a great product but is known for a loud sleeping noise. Had to exchange my first one for that reason.
Pros:
large water tank don’t have to refill all the time.
Light is adjustable/ turns off
Large basket of ice
Makes ice quickly
Has its own water filter
Comes with scoop
Aesthetically pleasing/looks good on the counter

We had to return it, after trying three machines, we had to get a refund. All three made the same terrible whining sound when making ice.
