We thought we would use this ice maker when we had guests and needed extra ice. Wrong. We use this ice maker exclusively. Much better ice than the fridge. We use the wireless feature to schedule the ice maker times to make ice every day. Very convenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Machine, Maintenance Should Be Easier

We absolutely love the ice and this machine except that maintenance is not exactly easy. And as a result, the machine is very heavy when having to move it to a place for emptying the water after running the cleaning cycle. I wish that this machine handled hard water better also. We had the 1.0 version of this for less than a year and it stopped making ice completely.

The ice I’ve always wanted and fast!!

Extremely easy to set up and use. Fills the bin FAST! Produces delicious ice that lasts longer than ice from the refrigerator. Needs very little maintenance. The optional side tank attachment keeps your machine in production longer!

Great ice maker. Required descaling within 2 weeks of purchase (probably do bi-weekly) little strange but used white vinegar and no issue after.

Slightly frustrating

The instructions to install are super lengthy and not extremely clear. I typically like to follow instructions for items like this so I’m less likely to have issues later.
Also the app doesn’t seem to be working, I’ve attempted to reset my GE password 4 times each time saying it was successful but still unable to login to the app. I know my password is correct as I am able to login to the GE website with each new password.
