Perfect ice!

I have purchased several ice makers and this one is by far the best. The ice taste great and I love the crunchy nuggets. It’s also quieter than my last ice maker. Very impressed!

Loved it at first but then we found...

We loved it at first but then after multiple cleaning cycles after setting it up and then making a first batch of ice, we all tasted the ice and I noticed something in my mouth. Removed object and it was a metal shaving! I then stopped everyone from consuming the ice and then allowed the icemaker to finish making a complete batch of ice overnight. In the morning I dumped all of the ice and the side water reservoir. I went to empty the internal reservoir and notice 2 more metal shavings floating in the bottom! I have include a picture showing the 2. We were so excited for this appliance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

love the ice that comes from this machine. Makes ice quick! I like that you can schedule the on/off cycles through wifi. my only issue is that it is a little on the loud side when making ice. We moved ours down to the bar (from the kitchen) for this reason. Makes more sense down there anyway.

Love it but have only had it a short time and motor will get noisy and not make ice so I have to unplug it and let it sit before turning back on

This is not something we would expect you to have to do, and we sincerely apologize for this hassle.
If the sound that you are hearing is more of a "squeak" which impacts performance, this indicates the defrost cycle is beginning as ice builds up around the components. More frequent squeaking usually means that the cycle is having some trouble running due to mineral buildup in the system. This is easily remedied by running a cleaning cycle with white vinegar.
