Great But....

Much quieter than Opal 1. But, every time I open the drawer to get ice it drips water terribly. My tray is always wet. I never had that problem with the old one. The ice bin is always wet. The old drawer was much easier to get the ice out of.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Ice Maker

This ice maker works great at keeping up with our family. It is quick to set up and within a short time was already making ice. The only downside it that it can drip when you open the front drawer to get ice. It isn't a big deal, but I do feel like I have to wipe it down every time someone gets ice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you haven't already, we would recommend checking out the quick start guide for the Opal icemaker, which has specific steps for getting started with the machine. These will allow you to get ice in about 20 minutes after beginning the ice making process. Some sounds are expected during the initial set up that will dissipate as the machine begins its cycles. Easy to use.

We really like the size of the ice cubes. It is easy to use and keep clean. It is super quiet. Our kitchen is open to our living room and the ice maker sits close to the living room and you can not hear the motor or the ice cubes drop.
I would recommend this to a friend!
