Ge profile nugget ice maker

Works great, only problem is side tank reservoir doesn't drain into main tank which happened right out of the box. I will have to see if there's a blockage or another issue going on.

Hey there - It's really great to hear that your Opal is working well for you! We do apologize that you're having some issues with the side tank. This can be pretty discouraging and we're happy to offer some guidance.
There may be bubbles in the tube connecting the side tank to the Opal if the tube is not lying flat. Try adjusting the tube to allow the water flow. Once water starts flowing, it typically will not not further adjusting. We bought an original Opal ice maker, and it served us well. When it finally died, we upgraded to the Profile. The large tank on the side makes it so much easier, and scheduling the making of ice with my phone is a real plus. We still have plenty of ice the next morning when it starts up.

Great product! I originally ordered an cheaper model and was upset I didn’t spend the extra $ to buy the ge profile. A few weeks later and reading the reviews once again I bit the bullet and purchased it! Definitely an investment but so worth it. We all love the ice chips and the drawer stays full. Makes ice quickly and looks great sitting on my bed granite countertops
