I love this ice maker, it makes ice really fast. If I could change anything it would be that it comes with a bigger water tank because I have to fill the tank everyday, but it's worth it to have this nugget ice anytime I want it it was a little expensive but worth it if your like me and a iceaholic! I couldn't live with out it if something happens to this one down the road I will diffently buy another that's how much I love it!

Right out of the box brand new squeaks when producing ice. Seems crazy for the price. The ice is great tho

Normally, when Opal is in need of defrosting, it may start to squeak as ice starts to build up around the mechanisms. The defrost cycle is automatic, and may take 30-45 minutes. However, if you are still experiencing this sound, a white vinegar cleaning to remove internal mineral scale buildup can help. Greatest Ice Maker

Love this machine! Makes the Great Sonic ice at home. Extra container on the side for extra water. Fills the container of ice in several hours and then we just dump in the freezer. Has an app so you can set up a schedule if you want, or turn it on when you are heading home.

Loud squeaky fan

I love the ice however the motor is loud and occasionally a fan squeaks when running. This seems to be a common issue and I noticed it after plugging it in for the first time. It doesn’t interfere with the ice but at this price point I was expecting a better quality.

Love this nugget ice maker!!

I purchased the GE Profile Nugget Ice Maker about a month ago & all I can say is we all love the chewable crunchy ice….. it makes all your drinks extra special …. also it came in very handle during the time some family members were experiencing sickness … they weren’t able to eat food but the ice was something they really enjoyed & helped to relieve some of their symptoms …. Thanks for making such a fine product accessible to everyday families!
