I like the ice maker but am having an issue with a squeaking noise contacted customer service and followed their procedures and suppose to be sending me a replacement we will see how the second one preforms when I get it in?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Please note that sometimes if your Opal is in need of defrosting, it may start to squeak as ice starts to build up around the mechanisms. The defrost is automatic and may take 30-45 minutes. More frequent squeaking usually requires white vinegar cleaning to remove internal mineral scale buildup.

Love this maker!

Absolutely love this ice maker! I was hesitant due to so many "eh" reviews, bit the bullet and just ordered one with side tank. Been using for over a month now and beats any other ice available! I start it and let it make 2 or 3 gallon bags at a time then shut it down. Its does make a little noise but its an icemaker.... dont recall ever needing to hold meetings or phone conversations etc around an icemaker doing its job. Some people complain about anything and everything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this ice machine. Been wanting it for several years but the price always kept me from pulling trigger. It’s so worth it. Ice is soo good and makes ice so fast. Easy to clean. Easy to work. My husband is using the ice too. It’s so great! 5 star!

Perfect Ice

Love having the crushed ice whenever! Keeps up better than our refrigerator ice maker. Sets on the kitchen counter.Slides under cabinet & doors still have plenty of opening access. We have the side water container which I would highly recommend. Only have to fill about every other day. Only complaint is the shrill squeal when in defrost mode. Any remedy for this would be greatly appreciated!

Great Ice Maker

Ice maker is great! After every use ice maker starts to make more when the door closes. The whole family makes use for it, sodas, iced coffee. Perfect size ice. If I have 1 dislike/concern it’s the noise sometimes get a bit loud. Not all the time, just random.
