Best Christmas gift ever! An Ice maker that makes the “good ice” is a must have. All of my drinks seem to taste better. Super easy to set up and ice is made very quickly! Doesn’t take up much cabinet space and very convenient!! Love everything about this!!

I love, love my opal ice maker! Perfect ice all day long. Never runs out, even with a crowd it regenerates fresh ice quickly.

So far so good, it started making ice within minutes. It makes some noise when making ice, but not so much to interrupt a movie or conversation. I love the fact that I can monitor it remotely through the app. It's a pretty hefty appliance and will take a good amount of counter space, but I love this kind of ice, so it's a small sacrifice to pay. The ice maker has a self clean function, so I keep it near my sink to make things easier when cleaning it. It has a hose in the back of the unit that must drain once the cleaning cycle is complete, so i simply detach it and drain it straight into the sink. The ice maker is pricey, so its more of a luxury item for me, but so far its worth it because I love ice with all my drinks. Dentist also recommend this sort of ice for anyone that loves to chew ice, like myself.

We had an original Opel machine that died. I bought this as a replacement. Works as advertised. It’s just much louder than the old machine when making ice.

Best ice machine

I purchased this ice maker because I obviously love to be able to chew on my ice. I had purchased a different ice machine a few years ago & honestly never used it because it didn’t make this kind of chewable ice even in the “small” sized setting. I am definitely extremely happy with my Opal and it is used everyday by my entire family.
