We Absolutely love our little nugget ice maker. Everyone in the family uses it all throughout the day to make our favorite beverage and also to chew on the ice

We have a dedicated faucet with filtration for our beverage center but lacked an ice supply. GE delivers with the Opal Ice Maker on our countertop!

After reading some of the reviews that complained about the noise and some machines being slow to make ice, I was having doubts. Decided to take a chance and what a great surprise we discovered the first batch.
The opal II has made approx. 20lbs a day every time we use it and we have yet to be bothered by excessive noise. It's a great machine and a big addition to our home.

This ice maker makes the perfect tiny cubes of ice and my entire family has enjoyed it so far! The detachable extra water tank took some work to get working properly but it wasn’t terribly difficult.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was on my wish list for years and I was totally surprised to open this Christmas! It is amazing and lives up to the hype. Just like Sonic and Chick-fil-a ice only at home and on demand. Excellent design. Does add white noise to my kitchen but that’s ok with me, some might think it’s loud for a small appliance.
