In Love!!

I love my GE Opal 2.0 Nugget Ice Maker! It’s been in constant use since the first batch!! It fits perfectly on my counter and was so easy to set up!. I purchased the model with a side tank for a little extra on the purchase price and I’m so glad I did!! The Opal produces ice quickly and it’s mess-free!! Who doesn’t love that “good ice?”

Loud squealing noise

Had this product for about three weeks and after about three weeks when the machine was making ice it now has a squealing noise that it makes. It tends to make the noise when it is working on dispensing the ice nuggets into the ice bin. For the price paid for the machine it is really frustrating and disappointing to be having issues so soon with the appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great ice, take a little time to build up a good quantity of ice. However with the Wi-Fi home connect feature it's not to hard to turn it on from work.

Chilling! The ice maker is the perfect addition. I've not set up wi-fi yet. Looking forward to that. It was a labor to clean before starting, but after that "rinse, repeat" process, it's been an icy breeze.

Finally an ice maker that works!! We've had issues with the ice maker in two refrigerators and this product has solved that!! Plus the nugget ice is awesome!!
