I'm enjoying my birthday present. The one and only reason that I didn't give five(5) stars is that it takes awhile to make a full bind of ice.

Good Ice Maker

This machine makes great “sonic” ice in a short period of time. It is easy to fill and clean. My only complaint is that it sporadically makes a loud noise. The noise doesn’t seem to effect the working of the machine.

We have been using this nonstop for a month. It works great! It makes ice quickly. Perfect crunchy ice all day long. This is real easy, fill up the water and it does the rest. I have not used the wifi feature yet, All of our friends want one of these. a couple have cheap units, and regret not getting the GE.

Makes good ice, large and heavy

This is a little noisy, but I guess that could be expected for making ice. My husband got this for our bar area, but it is way to big to put anywhere. Won't fit nicely under any shelves because it is too tall. Takes up a lot of counter space. And it is way too heavy to be lifting up out of a cabinet when you want to use it. We ended up with it in our laundry room and I just turn it on for the weekends. Just feels like I am using a lot of electricity to run this thing all the time. I try to empty the water out on Monday, but there is still water sitting in the machine that cannot be easily emptied. Hope this isn't gorwing bacteria or mold. It is nice having ice of the weekends to grab. And the ice is nice and made quickly. Though I feel like it is more trouble than it is worth. Would have preferred to have one built in to cabinets and hooked up to a water supply. My husband really likes having this kind of ice though.

Much quieter than Opal, better controls
