I just spent a lot of money on version 1.0 of the ice maker and I do like it. As soon as I purchased it, version 2.0 came out with better features especially when it comes to hygene and safety. Is it a possibility to trade up and pay a difference? My machine is literally only a few months old.

Love this machine so much! Ice is soft but crunchy and it makes a bunch. What a great way to help us stay hydrated. Makes everything taste better. Really!
The only thing that I wish could be fixed is the drip from the ice bin when you open it. It drips on the tray provided and is an easy wipe up, but it seems like there should be an easy fix.

Wonderful product! Makes ice quickly and keeps it made. We had a party of 12 over, that’s the only ice we used and we never ran out. Best ice ever, SONIC ice!

We have it at our lake house. I love the WiFi feature. I can turn it on a few hours before we arrive and will have a full bin of ice waiting for us. We have 12 adults and 7 kids. It keeps up with us for the most part. Even when we do deplete most of the ice, it refills pretty quickly.
